Egg Free Chocolate Cookies
Many people suffer from the food allergies. Being allergic to eggs is a very common allergy, especially amongst children. Usually these people are allergic to either the egg yolk or the egg white. Finding out which you're allergic to and separating out the two parts is one way to deal with the allergy.
Sadly, most desserts are filled with eggs, making it really hard for people with this allergy to enjoy a good dessert! I've been trying to make different dessert recipes that don't include eggs. Here is a great and delicious chocolate cookie recipe that is egg free (and if tweaked right, can be milk free too!). Enjoy!
Ingredients and Directions
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of Margarine
3/4 cup of Sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
1 cup of Flour
1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda
1/3 cup of Cocoa
1/2 cup of Milk (substitute with water if you want milk free cookies)
Directions:
- Mix together all the dry ingredients.
- Mix together the wet ingredients.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Add additional milk or water if needed.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Cookies will be very fluffy.

I bet these will be delicious with Almond milk! I haven't even thought of that. If you do end up trying that, let me know how it goes. :D
This is something that looks delicious! Also, many people just want something sweet and dont have eggs in their fridge.(Me alot haha) So, this would also be good for a person just looking for a sweet recipe with no eggs. Bookmarked and voted up!
Thanks tosha! I too run into not having eggs sometimes. Thanks for the vote. :D
Nice share, Daniella Lopez! This is the first cookie recipe that is egg free I've read. Perhaps someday I'll try to cook it. I agree with SilverGenes, adding chocolate in it will be so yummy. Thank's for the recipe, Daniella Lopez :)
Thanks for the comment Vianasya! If you do end up cooking these, I hope you enjoy them! :D
voted up and useful, thanks for the recipe
Thanks for the vote, cherylone.
Thanks for the recipe. I will try this.
You're welcome :)
Thanks for a great egg-less recipe. It's always nice to have options and I love the suggestion by SilverGenes with the almond milk.
Thanks for reading, Jbrock! I like her suggestion as well. I just haven't had any Almond Milk to test it out yet. =P
I think there is a mistake in this recipe--1/4 cup salt sounded like a lot, but I followed the recipe and the batter tastes very salty! :)
Oh goodness! Major typo! Thank you for pointing that out. I've reajusted the recipe accordingly.
just made these minus the salt and they turned out great, the mixture was really yummy too!! Thanks for the recipe x

These sound delicious! Put chocolate in it and I'm there! Since I'm not a milk fan at all, I may try this with almond milk instead. Thanks for the yummy recipe :)
