5 Great Blogs on Vintage Fashion

I absolutely adore vintage fashion. I particularly love the fashion from the 30s and 50s. Clothing from these eras were far more classier in my opinion and gave women a feminine and refined look.Women looked very polished and modest and yet still could look amazingly sexy.

Vintage fashion has seen an increase in popularity within the past few years thanks to celebrities like Zooey Deschanel and Dita von Teese. With the increase in popularity, many new up and coming designers have begun creating new pieces of vintage clothing that are reminiscent of an older time.

A Beautiful Mess: This is by far one of my favorite blogs to visit for information on vintage fashion. The blogger, Elsie, has an adorable sense of fashion and writes very intriguing and informative blog posts. Her blog provides links to her store that sells vintage clothing and products. Something I absolutely love about her blog is that she includes pictures of different ways to wear different items of her clothing. For someone like me, who has a hard time putting an outfit together, these little tips help me immensely.

Sally Jane Vintage The clothing advertised on this blog are very simple yet very cute. The blogger has an incredible vintage collection that she promotes on her blog and sells on Etsy. Definitely a blog worth checking out if you're interested in purchasing vintage clothing.

Skunkboy Creatures The blogger in this blog actually creates hand-sewn plush animals. However, she often blogs about vintage fashion, which is why I'm listing her blog with all of these. Also, her plush pets have a very cute vintage feel!

Oh So Lovely Vintage Bloggers Stefanie and Erin travel America selling their vintage collection. They blog about their experiences around the country, as well as their collection. During certain seasons they sells pieces of their collection on Etsy.

Create*Loves This blog is a favorite for me at the moment because the blogger covers the topic of vintage maternity clothes (which are actually rather difficult to find!). The blog covers much more than just vintage fashion, but for all of you expecting mothers out there in love with vintage fashion, this is a great blog to check out.
